So I took a little break, an unplanned one.
What better way to jump back into the internets that with some photography projects! I started, then stalled out in the midst of, a 10 on 10 last year. Starting the year off with the monthly post. On the 10th of each month, a group of photographers will post 10 images on the 10th of the month, then link to the next participant in the group.
This month I chose a random school day. It was a dark, rainy day. There was no good light to be found. Not that it would have mattered – when uploading the files to this post, the color goes all wonky. They did not look this way when I imported them into LR or tweaked them in PS. Maybe that is why I quit blogging for a while – I got tired of fighting the fight with Windows Live Writer and the color cast with it threw into my images? Anyway – I just simply documented the day as I made my way through it, little reason, no rhyme, no consistency or coherency. Much like most of my days!
My day, Tuesday, January 8th:
The remnants of the boys’ breakfast:
Lunch waiting to be grabbed on the way out the door:
Our house, hiding in the rain and fog:
Wet, dreary days have been a rarity around South Texas lately:
Game day for the oldest, so a lunch delivery:
A quick bite for me:
This monster rioted when I went out to the pig barn:
Filling up:
The grey skies heading to Payne’s game:
Evidence of my complete lack of ability to take basketball shots:
