This documentary is on PBS tonight. It's about 3 senior citizens from Maine who greet the American troops as they come through Bangor.

Joaquin, Joaquin. Joaquin.
Here it is, just in case you, like me, fell asleep last night and missed Joaquin and David.
Mockumentary? Adult beverages? Narcotics? Down-right strangeness? Inside joke?

I've mentioned Life before. You have seen it, right?
Damien Lewis (of Band of Brothers fame) is Detective Charlie Crews. Quirky. Zen-ish. Fruit-lover.
This season, he has a new boss. Donal Logue, a favorite of ours from The Tao of Steve.
It will not be an hour you wish you could have back, unlike that time you sat and watched American Gladiators. Not that I ever did...but people in my family have.

Goodness. Where did September take off to? (And yes, it bugs the *&$! out of me to end a sentence - even a question - with a preposition.)
Off to the State Fair tomorrow.
Back soon. Promise.
Oh - while you are waiting, catch Life. Favorite new show so far.

I adore this show: Robin Hood. Check it out on BBC America. I usually watch on Sunday mornings while getting ready for church, but I think it airs on Saturday nights. Tights not required.

Gladys, the mall-walker, put my life into words that I cannot: "I love Jesus but I drink a little."
You must watch! Both of them....and there are more out there....

"If you knew that this were your last day on earth, how would you spend it?" - Meredith Grey on Grey's Anatomy
As I have said before, I love this show. Watch it - you must.
I actually cried while watching it last night....of course, it might have been the opressive headache and fever I had, but I cried none the less.
And on a completely unrelated note (well, maybe not. He is one of the people I would want to spend my last day on earth with) here is a favorite picture of Jackson.
