10 on 10

A new year, a new project.

Rather than a weekly assignment, this one is monthly with a simple goal: take 10 photographs in one day and post the day on the 10th of the month.

As usual, the 10th came barreling along way before I was prepared. I chose Sunday to document. The boys and Jon were at the deer lease and I woke up to a silent house. It was a typical Sunday once they were home - cleaning pig pens, laundry, grocery store, homework that was put off, dinner. Yet there was so much I missed – church, a 4H meeting, Payne at the batting cage, the friends who were over for dinner..... A very full day!

Again I am participating in this project with some crazy talented photographers from The Bloom Forum. You’ll have to pack your virtual bags and do a little overseas traveling to see what 10 on 10 Marianna of Marianna Marinina Photography has!

52 Fridays: Another Self-Portrait

So it is the end of the year-long photography project, and we are ending just as we began, with a self-portrait. Could there be anything more excruciating than taking a picture of yourself, trying to pick one out, and posting it?

It has been a fun personal project. Some weeks had themes that were easy to imagine and capture. Other weeks had themes that really pushed me and made me work hard. Although I will miss this weekly project (and the super-talented ladies I have been working with!), I have a new monthly project starting next week.

 

*these do not look this way in photoshop – when I put them in the post, the color shifts oddly….any hints anyone as to what I am messing up? Must find a solution!*
