Old. What is old? Who is old? How does one interpret old?
I have a box of old photographs from my grandmother's house. It is filled with family snapshots and school portraits over the years, filled with people that I have known as grown-up my entire life as not grown-up. They are mostly of my dad. I cherish these pictures. Looking through them, I realize I need be better about getting my family photographs, especially the day-to-day moments that make up the years rushing by, printed. They may just be thrown into a box someday, but someone will look at them and realize the connections that run through old photographs and family generations.
Head on over to Denver family photographer Lisa Turner. Her photography is fabulous! Remember we have some new faces joining our project - make sure to click through the blog-circle and see how everyone deals with "old."
I will be seeing if Don and I are friends or not. We should finish harvesting cotton sometime Friday, and Don's path is shifting to the south. I pray our cotton pickers finish ahead of his arrival.
