Another Friday, another installment of the Project 52. I am participating in a year-long project with other photographers to stretch our creativity and spur a little personal work. A theme is assigned, and we interpret the theme photographically then post it on our blogs. One photographer links to the next, and you can travel from blog to blog in a giant circle.
This week's theme is "Rainbow."
What I wouldn't give to have some rainy weather and an ensuing rainbow right now! It is a very critical point in our crop, and the lack of moisture is starting to stress the plants.
I definitely had to hit the archives to find a rainbow. This was shot on my older iPhone with the Hipstamatic app. It was after last year's harvest - you can see the remnants of crop trash in the field. I had just dropped the boys off at school, and walked out of my garage to see the beautiful double rainbow. I was glad the camera on the phone could record the faint second one.

It is a little early for us to have double rainbows...usually in July and Auguest. I love it when I look out our picture windows at the mtn and see a double rainbow. Wonderful shot!!!

Love it! We had a double rainbow the other day but I was too slow getting my camera out and only captured it when it was one lonely rainbow lol!
