As I am working on the farm books, I am completely rocking out to my new favorite set of tunes.....the new Pat Green CD, Cannonball that was released today. Totally rocks. Initial favorites are the title tune, Cannonball and I'm Trying to Find It. Dixie Lullaby is another favorite, since it mentions a cotton farmer.
Anyone who has known me for more than, oh maybe three hours, knows that my mother is being quiet facetious when she calls me "Grace." Not too stable on my feet some days. Credit the old basketball injuries and a tumble down a couple of stairs eons ago plus a good sprain every three or four months. Add to it a sprain in June while we were in Leakey with the Thompsons, continuous issues with said ankle since then, and voila! An anatomy lesson!
I finally got tired of my ankle looking like a grapefruit is inserted at the joint, and went and had some x-rays and an MRI. I am now the proud owner of a completely torn talofibular ligament. Next up for me is an ankle specialist.
It doesn't take much to humor me. Things like a music video with synchronized treadmill dancing. Yes, you read that right. Synchronized treadmill dancing. Plus, there are white shoes and pink pants. On.Men. Enjoy...... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aeeR4Vnvs8U
I don't think there are enough letters in the alphabet to form enough words to express what a fan-tab-u-lous time we had in Wyoming. It was just incredible. Until I can elaborate, here are a few shots.
Today's sights included bubbling water, steam galore, falling water, and the weather: sunshine, rain, hail, and even snow. Plus bison and bears, elk and moose. The Cheneys are still around, too. Found us yet?
