Our vacation was fabulous. Sun, sand, surf...quite relaxing and refreshing. We swam and fished and sailed and kayaked and snuba-ed and ate and slept and drank and (some of us, at least) para-sailed.
The Turks and Caicos Islands are beautiful. White sandy beaches and the most beautiful water you can imagine. Close to shore, the water is turquoise. Further out, once you hit the drop off (yes, I know it is dangerous by the drop off, but we were luckier than Nemo.) the water is cobalt - rich and dark and deep.
The clouds frequently looked green from the reflection of the turquoise water.
I caught our dinner one night - not pictured, as Jon was running the video so I could have proof of my conquest to show the boys. The restaraunt fixed the wahoo grilled, blackened, and jerked. Yum.
Good times with good friends. You can find some of our pictures (except for one shot, you'd never know I was there) by clicking on the link on the left. They are in random order and are unedited.
Nice to have grandmothers (and grandfathers) who are willing to take over parenting duties for a few days in order to have the battery recharged.
Would it surprise anyone that Jackson was sick (severe gastric distress...leave it up to your imagination) the day before we left, Payne was sick the day we returned home, and MH got sick two days later.....
