Jon is in Washington DC talking to important people about important things.
The boys had a busy afternoon: haircuts and story time at the library after school.
Starvation hit them both, and they miraculously agreed on Long John Silver's...can't think about the health quotient on that! Food seemed to quell the fighting. Peaceful evening around the Whatley house......
We had two extra kids all weekend, and spent the whole weekend running, running, running.
Yesterday afternoon was the inaugural game for the Corpus Christi Hooks, our new AA team. No pictures because Mom left all the camera at home. Our friends the Hagedorns went with us, and Gigi had hers, so perhaps pictures later.
Opening NIGHT is tonight, and I will have the camera with us.
If you need to find me in the next two months, I will be at a baseball field. The boys had Opening Ceremonies Monday, and the Baby J had his first t-ball game Tuesday. The t-ballers are so cute out there!
Here is Jackson and his buddy James:
And here is the Baby J warming up for the game:
If you need a game report, talk to the big brother. He has his first game Friday.
Yes, I realize it is April Fool's Day, but I am not funny nor creative and I hate practical jokes (gosh that makes me sound like a real stick in the mud - I love to laugh, I swear - I really am a fun person....) so no cute changes to the blog today. I would love to put up some neat, themed banner - just don't know how. My name is Kelly, and I am an HTML idiot. Find your humour elsewhere today.
On the upside, even with the wind, Jon should finish planting today.
Even more on the upside: I will be away for the night at a board retreat.
And on a late upside note: The Whatleys were very happy with the results of this week's Amazing Race. And, Jon and I both agree Rob is one of the street-smartest people out there. It's no wonder he has done well on these shows.
